Wintergreen is the unmistakable top note of true root beer — cool, bright, and nostalgic from the first sip. It grows freely across the northern forests of Canada and the upper States, its red berries scattered through the moss beneath the pines. A little is all the recipe asks, and exactly that is what we use.
An evergreen shrub that grows the world over, from rocky deserts to nordic forests — its berries ranging from deep blue to milky violet, spicy and pine-bright on the tongue. Prized in kitchens and apothecaries alike since ancient times, juniper is the same wild note that gives gin its soul. Ours are gathered wild, never cultivated. These magical little berries also pack a staggering 87 antioxidant phytochemicals increasing catalase (reduces grey hair), and glutathione (master antioxidant).
The king of mushrooms, and the reason this bottle exists — wild chaga carries the deep, roasted-earth heart of the elixir. It is one of the richest known sources of melanin, and remarkably dense in trace minerals, beta-glucans, and rare birch-born compounds like betulinic acid and superoxide dismutase. Ours grows wild on living birch in the Ontario forests, harvested at twenty-plus years of growth and dual-extracted — we spared no expense making the most potent chaga we know how to brew.
The backbone of homemade root beer since the early 1800s — sarsaparilla gives the elixir its deep, earthy sweetness. Indigenous traditions across three continents kept this root in constant use for generations of healing digestive disturbances, arthritis and skin problems like psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis. Ours is Hemidesmus indicus, rare Indian sarsaparilla, harvested by a single family we work with directly.
Wild cherry bark lends the elixir its dark, stone-fruit sweetness — the backbone note of old-fashioned root beer. For centuries it was the most treasured bark in the North American herbalist's cabinet, brewed as a natural cough remedy. Coming directly from wild cherry trees, the bark contains the constituent “amygdalin” which soothes irritations and inflammation in the bronchial tubes that carry air from your windpipe to your lungs. Ours comes straight from wild cherry trees, never orchard-grown.
Considered a weed by the uninitiated — and one of the most nutritious plants on earth by everyone else. Root to flower, dandelion carries vitamins A, C, and K, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and the prebiotic fiber a happy gut runs on.

Nature is the Alchemist
We don't grow our mushrooms in a lab, we harvest them wild in their natural habitat: the forest. Our philosophy is that Nature is the ultimate alchemist, perfecting the nourishment of every plant, herb and fungi.
Our northern botanicals and organic herbs are synergistically combined with Canadian-foraged chaga into a single formula — nature's ingredients, brought together the way the forest intended.
From the forest with love, we are devoted to making you feel the upsurge of nature in your being.

Pineal Gland Activation
The pineal gland is hailed as the 'third eye' or 'seat of the soul' by many ancient cultures. It controls hormones, sleep cycles, melatonin secretion, metabolism, and sexual maturation.
Chemical exposure, like fluoride, can result in pineal gland calcification and symptoms such as cognitive fogginess, disorientation, inadequate sleep, lethargy, and impaired focus.
Split a piece of wild chaga and you'll find gold beneath the black — decades of forest sun stored in slow-grown tissue.
The old herbalists called it food for the third eye, taken for deep sleep, vivid dreams, and clear intuition. We take it the way they did: whole, wild, and unhurried.
Ask the Alchemists
Does it need to be refrigerated?
Yes — once opened, keep it cold. The formula is completely natural, with nothing artificial to preserve it; the herbs themselves hold the elixir's integrity for six months from brewing. Most orders are brewed fresh to order, so what arrives at your door hasn't been sitting in a warehouse — it's fresh from the forest.
Do you sustainably harvest your chaga?
It's the only way we harvest and we've been the online leaders in sharing that education of how to forage chaga mushroom sustainably for over a decade. Wild chaga takes twenty-plus years to reach its peak on a living birch, so we treat every mushroom like the slow-grown magic it is, taken by hand, only a portion from each, the rest left on the tree to keep growing.
Does it contain sugar?
A whisper — less than one gram per serving, from biodynamic cane sugar and organic blackstrap molasses, there to round the roots the way the original recipe intended. This is an elixir built on herbal concentration, not sweetness; the sugar is seasoning, not substance.
Will it make me trip?
All mushrooms are magic, but it's not that type of magic mushroom. Wild chaga is a birch-born fungus, not a psychedelic — so you won't start talking to trees but every sip make take you somewhere special: a mystical forest, an old recipe, a calmer state of mind.
How long does a bottle last?
The 16.9 oz holds thirty-three servings — a month and change of daily spoonfuls. The 8 oz is sixteen, and the 32 oz is sixty-four, a two-month standing ritual. However you pour it, six months of shelf life from brewing, refrigerated after opening.
