Welcome to a culinary delight.
Porcini mushrooms, translating to "piglets" in Italian, is a highly sought-after fungi in Michelin-star restaurants worldwide, featured as a gourmet masterpiece.
There's a particular decisive & nutty flavor the infamous Porcini (Boletus Edulis) offers to dishes from  risotto to soup adding to their depth, elegance and richness. They make for a premier substitute for meat, as they melts down slow & steady into a delectable earthy dark sauce.
It's a synergy of comfort food meeting the gourmet magic of Italy.

Our Source from the Calabria Mountains

The source of our Porcini mushrooms is the heart land of Southern Italy, along the slopes of Calabria mountains coated with the wet moisture of the Ionian Seaside.
The collaboration of Sarafino & Black Magic runs deep to bring forth this rare offering of pristinely foraged porcini mushroom by family owned company of 35 years experience located in Petronà, known and respected in the mushroom and chestnut realm.
May your tongue meet the magic of this delectable fungi.

Preparing to Soak

Select the portion of porcini you desire for your recipe and soak them in hot spring water for 20 - 30 minutes. You could also soak them for several hours in room temperature water, which will unlock a more mushroom-y flavor. Cook your porcini

Secret hint: You can use your Black Magic Wild Chaga Brew liquid for soaking your porcini's for a medicinal super punch of flavor and nourishing properties.

Not only can you use your now rehydrated porcini mushrooms now for cooking, you also have yielded a rich earthy liquid broth that you can use to enhance the flavor of soups, rice, sauces, stews, and braises. Freeze for future use if need be.

How to Cook Porcini Mushrooms

Sauté: Coat the pan with your favourite olive oil, bring to warm and add in your porcini mushrooms. Pairs fantastic with leeks, onions and garlic. Dash your spices. Cook for 10 mins.

Grill: Brush the porcini with premier olive oil, dashing with mountain salt and fresh cracked pepper. Grill for 10 minutes, flipping at the 5 minute mark.

Roast: Place your lil piglets... I mean porcini's in an oven pre-heated to 400 degrees, to roast for 10 minutes, flipping the mushrooms around the 5-minute mark.
